Archaeologists have recently discovered that lapis lazuli was the first piece of jewellery to be made by the ancient Sumerian’s. They made the jewellery as a gift to the night sky in honour of their Gods and Goddesses. The ancient Egyptians made the majority of the jewellery out of the stone and was only worn by royals. So the first handmade and blessed piece with this collaboration would only be fit for it to be this gorgeous stone.
