The Goddesses and the full Moon
The Goddesses, the full moon and connecting with your spirit guides.
“Nothing is more magical than standing under the light of a full moon” many say. The full moon has inspired many rituals, songs, movies and poetry for millenniums.
The full moon can affect your emotional state as well as your physical state.
The spiritual meaning has been interpreted by many spiritualists, mystics and religious organisations believe it empowers your heightened emotions and opens your third eye.
Standing under a full moon; in the right frame of spiritual mind has the power to be illuminating, transformational, intense, and inspiring.
Many Pagan and Greek Olympian craft practitioners create special rituals to honour the moon Goddesses Hecate, Artemis, Diana.
Hecate is known as the Queen of the craft having the keys to heaven, earth and hell.
Artemis the hunter and Queen of justice and protector of the animal kingdom and animal spirit.
Diana there is no one to protect children, childbirth, and fertility matters and is also the Queen of the forest and woods:
Many religions Incorporate the goddess beliefs and deity’s, including Hinduism as they believe the goddess Kali is the Moon Goddess.
All ritualistic practice adds intensity to whatever intent or purpose is behind the ritual be it an offering for something to manifest for you or just to honour the Queen Full Moon on her majestic stage of the universe.
Creating a bond with this special lunar cycle can offer insight into how you feel the effects of full moon phase.
You can practice for fun or make your own offering by
• Having some white paper and red pen, white candle (can even be a tea light candle as long as it’s white)
• If you have crystals and incense that would help but these are not mandatory you can do it with just a paper and red pen.
• Write down your name and date of birth and what you would like to manifest outside under the light of the full moon.
• This part is known as the moon connecting with your spirit guide and can open yourself up energetically to the light of the moon and feel how your whole being come alive in response as you feel cleansed from the moon light.
• When you have completed your moon bath contemplation, sit with your journal where you have enough light to see.
• Write the words, “I thank the Queen full moon for …….” and let yourself free-write anything, that comes to mind, no matter how big or small as long as it’s positive and can also be invoking healing for someone else. Don’t strain yourself in this exercise, relax, enjoy and let it flow.
• Allow approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete this, some people who are familiar with this practice. Some people need less time than others who are first starting out. There are many beliefs to this system form spiritual, psychological, or even a placebo this experience is always enjoyable and fun.
My verdict
I believe if you write something down and you can see it and touch it, that emotion no longer lives within you as much; as it becomes an object you hold in your hand.
I have spoken to so many people that believe in the philosophy of the book “the secret”. If we are to believe that we attract what we feel, then how many of us are feeling negative most of the time and what are you attracting? Negative
When you light candles, incense and have crystals; these objects act as tools for you to get in touch with your spiritual self and connect to spirit world.
